The group of 26 participants came from different security and intelligence institutions in Rwanda, including the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB), the Rwanda National Police (RNP), the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS), the Ministry of Defence (MINADEF), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINAFFET).
Training Focused on Leadership and Defence Management
According to the Ministry of Defence, the training concluded on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Senior Command and Staff College in Musanze District.
The program aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills in leadership, planning, resource management, and decision-making, equipping both military and defence staff with the capacity to manage defence institutions and operations effectively.
It was designed to prepare them to oversee defence structures, military operations, and resources both in peacetime and wartime.
