Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy will perform live at the halftime show during the NFL’s first official game in France on October 25, 2026.
The landmark game features the Pittsburgh Steelers against the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France. Furthermore, kickoff takes place at 14:30 local time. Thus, this performance marks a huge moment as the league hosts its first regular-season game on French soil. Therefore, Burna Boy takes center stage to showcase African music on a global platform.

Historic Return to Stade de France
Burna Boy earned 13 Grammy nominations throughout his career. Additionally, he became the first African artist to perform live during the main Grammy ceremony. In April 2025, he also made history as the first African artist to sell out a solo concert at Stade de France.
“Paris gave me one of the most incredible nights of my musical life, and returning to Stade de France for this event means a lot to me,” stated Burna Boy. “The NFL is bringing something unprecedented to France, and I am honored to represent African music. I am going to give people an unforgettable show.”
NFL International Head of Entertainment Tim Tubito explained that Burna Boy’s global reach made him the perfect performer for this event. Meanwhile, GL Events and the French Ministry of Sports organized the event together.
