At the official inauguration of the Home of Dreams cycling center located in Ntarama, Bugesera District, the Minister of Sports, Nelly Mukazayire, urged children and youth to focus on four key principles that will help them become outstanding in their future lives.
The ceremony, held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, was attended by various leaders including officials from Bugesera District, the Gasore Serge Foundation, and the manager of the Israel Premier Tech cycling team, which contributed to building the cycling infrastructure in Ntarama.
Minister Mukazayire emphasized that young people should: Believe in their talents, work hard, have dreams and a clear vision reflected in their goals, never give up but instead uphold discipline and commitment.
She stated: “Believe in your talents, work hard, have dreams and a vision, and set goals. The fourth is to never give up, but to pursue discipline and dedication.”

Bugesera District Mayor, Mutabazi Richard, thanked the partners who supported the construction of the facilities, noting that they are a strong foundation for developing youth talent in cycling. He said that the Field of Dreams cycling track and its facilities will help young people sharpen their skills and prepare athletes who will bring pride to Bugesera and Rwanda as a whole.

The Ambassador of Israel to Rwanda, Einat Weiss, who also attended the event, said that building youth capacity through cycling fosters confidence, ability, and a new mindset. She remarked: “These initiatives are not only about promoting cycling, but also about instilling confidence in our youth, giving them capacity, and transforming their mindset.”

The event was also graced by notable figures including Jacques Landry, President of the International Cycling Union (UCI), Silvan Adams, owner of the Israel Premier Tech team, and Gasore Serge, founder of the Gasore Serge Foundation where the facilities were built, along with children who will be trained at the center.
The center is expected to be a springboard for raising the level of cycling in Rwanda and giving young people confidence to achieve their dreams.
