Youth in Gatsibo District, Kabarore Sector, expressed their excitement after attending an FPR Inkotanyi assembly. The meeting focused on agriculture and livestock. It aimed to help young people become self-reliant and create income.

Focus on Skills for Self-Reliance
First, the assembly brought together local leaders and many young people. They were eager to learn new skills.
As a result, participants said the knowledge gained would help them improve their daily lives. It would also help them start small projects.
Leaders Highlight Role of Youth
During the meeting, Richard Gasana, Chairman of FPR Inkotanyi, spoke about the role of youth. He said young people are key to national development.
He encouraged them to avoid laziness and use available opportunities.
He said:
“Youth are the strength of the nation. Be bold to work, innovate, and use the opportunities you have. Agriculture and livestock are among the pillars of development, and they will provide sustainable solutions for your livelihoods.”

In addition, Richard Gasana advised youth to work in groups. This approach helps them share ideas and support each other.

He also stressed the importance of self-reliance and love for the country.
