The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning has announced that the resolutions adopted during the 19th National Umushyikirano have reached 80 percent implementation. This progress reflects sustained efforts to turn citizens’ priorities into practical development outcomes.

Warehouses Boost Jobs and Productivity
In the economic sector, the government has constructed many warehouses across the country. These facilities have created jobs for over 370,000 people and strengthened national productivity. In addition, improved storage and distribution have supported local trade and reduced post-harvest losses for farmers.
Feeder Roads Improve Connectivity
To improve access to infrastructure, the government has built about 4,200 kilometers of feeder roads nationwide. As a result, rural communities now enjoy better transport links. Farmers can reach markets more easily, which has increased income opportunities and stimulated local economic growth.
Better Access to Social Services
The implementation also strengthened public service delivery. The government expanded access to education, healthcare, and clean water, especially in remote areas. Authorities upgraded schools and health centers, while new water projects improved living conditions for many households.
Focus on Social Protection and Youth
Furthermore, the government advanced social protection and youth empowerment programs. These include support for small and medium enterprises, as well as skills development initiatives for young people and women. Officials emphasized that continuous monitoring will ensure the remaining 20 percent of decisions are completed.
Overall, the progress demonstrates Rwanda’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development, improved livelihoods, and balanced growth between urban and rural communities.
