On January 30, 2026, Jeannette Kagame, the Honorary Chairperson of Imbuto Foundation, chaired the Foundation’s General Assembly in the City of Kigali. The meeting brought together members and partners. Together, they reviewed progress made during the past year. They also agreed on priorities for the year ahead.

Members Discuss Achievements and Challenges
During the session, members discussed key activities carried out by the Foundation. They reviewed achievements and challenges faced along the way. In addition, they shared lessons learned from different programs. The discussions focused on improving the lives of women and youth, who remain central to the Foundation’s mission.
Chairperson Calls for Planning Based on Values
In her opening remarks, Jeannette Kagame said it was important to meet early in the year. This helps members reflect on past work and plan better. However, she stressed that values must guide every action.
“It is important to review what we have achieved and plan what lies ahead. However, our actions must always be guided by our values,” she said.
