Journalist Murindahabi Iréné, known as M. Iréné, got married to Nikuze Liliane in a ceremony held in Gishari Sector, Rwamagana District.

Wedding Ceremony Began at Night
The ceremony began at around 10:00 PM, when the journalist and his wife arrived with a group of young men, who stopped anyone who tried to take photos or videos.
One of the people who spoke to IGIHE who was in Gishari Sector when Murindahabi arrived, said that he arrived there accompanied by several vehicles carrying many famous people in Rwandan entertainment, including Bruce Melodie, Chriss Eazy, Rocky Kimomo, Junior Rumaga and others.
About 20 Vehicles Arrived With Celebrities
He said, “Murindahabi was wearing a black jacket and a white shirt. His wife was wearing a white dress and white shoes. They came accompanied by many people, about 80, because there were about 20 cars outside. Among the celebrities I saw were Bruce Melodie and Rocky Kimomo, who immediately sat in the front seats, Junior Rumaga, Chriss Eazy and many others I can’t remember.”
Guests Stopped From Taking Photos
The source said that there were also young men from the gang who made sure that no one took photos or videos.
He said that anyone who tried to do so was stopped, and sometimes they were even verbally abused, which could have caused a conflict.
