Dutch footballer Memphis Depay has asked Sport Club Corinthians Paulista to provide him with a private room at the Neo Química Arena stadium and permission to use the stadium for his personal events in order to extend his contract.
In 2024, the player left Spain’s Atlético Madrid and moved to Brazil to join Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, a team competing in the country’s top-flight league.
After signing a two-year contract, the player has outlined his demands for renewing the deal before the end of this summer’s transfer window.
Private Stadium Access Among Key Demands
Memphis requested a private room at the Neo Química Arena, the club’s home stadium, as well as the right to use it for his personal events. He would receive 50% of the revenue generated from those events.
Revenue Sharing Requests
He would also be entitled to 20% of the revenue generated from the club’s participation in trophies and competitions.
The player further requested a share of the bonus money Corinthians would receive if the club wins the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup, even if he is no longer playing for the team at that time.
Salary and Commercial Terms
He also asked for a 10% increase in his salary, image rights payments, and earnings from commercial deals he has been involved in, with the additional amount going to his representative.
If his $1.3 million salary payment is delayed beyond the agreed period, it would increase by 0.2%.

The 32-year-old Memphis has played for top clubs including Manchester United, FC Barcelona, Lyon, and PSV Eindhoven.
