Swift Rescue and Medical Response
A spokesperson for the Ministry, Said Al-Atwan, stated that emergency teams were immediately deployed following the crashes. Rescue operations were launched without delay, and those on board were evacuated and transported to nearby hospitals. Medical assessments later confirmed that none of the personnel sustained serious injuries.
Investigations Underway Into the Cause
The Kuwaiti government noted that the exact cause of the accidents remains unclear. Joint investigations have been initiated by Kuwait and the United States to determine the circumstances surrounding the crashes. Officials said that verified findings will be released by the competent authorities once inquiries are complete.
Regional Tensions and International Reactions
The incidents occurred amid heightened regional tensions, with Iran previously claiming that Kuwait hosts U.S. military bases and amid reported coordinated attacks involving Israel since late February 2026.
Meanwhile, CNN published footage showing a U.S. warplane spinning in the air over Kuwait before the pilot ejected and the aircraft crashed. As of now, U.S. authorities have not issued an official statement in response to the Kuwaiti Ministry’s report.
