Prime Minister Dr. Édouard Ngirente Nsengiyumva has arrived in Malabo. He is representing President Paul Kagame at the 11th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS).

Summit Dates and Purpose
The summit started on March 27 and will end on March 29, 2026. It brings together leaders from member countries to discuss shared goals.
Focus on Development and Cooperation
On March 27, leaders discussed sustainable development and resilience. They also explored ways to strengthen cooperation among developing countries. As a result, member states aim to improve economic growth and stability.

Rwanda’s Representation in Discussions
Rwanda took part in the discussions through the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Usta Kaitesi. She represented the country in key sessions focused on development and partnerships.

The Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States was established in 1975. It brings together 79 member countries from Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.

The organisation promotes cooperation among developing countries. In addition, it supports sustainable development and economic partnerships. The European Union remains one of its key partners.
