Rwanda’s Prime Minister, Justin Nsengiyumva, arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union. His visit shows Rwanda’s strong commitment to continental cooperation.

He landed on Friday afternoon at Bole International Airport. Ethiopia’s Minister of Peace, Mohamed Edris, welcomed him warmly. This reception highlighted the close ties between Rwanda and Ethiopia. It also showed the spirit of partnership between the two countries.
Leaders Meet to Discuss Africa’s Priorities
The summit brings together Heads of State and Government under the African Union. During the meeting, leaders will discuss key issues affecting the continent.
For example, they will focus on peace and security. They will also address economic growth, climate action, and digital transformation. In addition, leaders will talk about youth and women empowerment. Another major topic is strengthening regional trade through the African Continental Free Trade Area.
Evaluating Progress and Planning Ahead
