Support for School Dropouts and Vulnerable Citizens
The program mainly targets school dropouts and other vulnerable residents. These beneficiaries often lack access to education and stable jobs. Therefore, the program will provide A2-level certificates to help them improve their qualifications. As a result, participants will gain better opportunities for employment and self-employment.
Skills Training to Boost Household Income
In addition, beneficiaries will receive vocational and practical skills training. These skills will help them start income-generating activities and improve productivity. Moreover, the training focuses on real-life needs, ensuring participants can apply what they learn immediately.
Youth and Women at the Center of the Program
The initiative gives special attention to youth and women. These groups play a key role in community development. By empowering them with skills and knowledge, the program enables them to contribute actively to Bugesera District’s economic growth. Consequently, families and communities will benefit in the long term.
Positive Feedback from Leaders and Beneficiaries
District leaders said the program supports government efforts to improve citizens’ welfare through education and skills development. Furthermore, they praised Imbuto Foundation for its strong partnership and continued support. Meanwhile, beneficiaries expressed confidence and joy, noting that the program will help them become self-reliant, create jobs, and improve their family livelihoods.
