Community Gratitude and Daily Life Impact
Residents in Kanzenze Sector expressed their appreciation for improved Rubavu clean water access. Local Initiative Boosts Rubavu Clean Water Access
Karasira Jean Bosco, a local resident of Gisenyi Sector, constructed a water pipeline and public tap for over 5,000 residents in Nyamirango and Nyamikongi cells. Motivated by the struggles of his mother and neighbors, he extended the pipeline to serve the entire community. Previously, residents walked about 2.5 kilometers to fetch water.
