On January 30, 2026, Jeannette Kagame, the Honorary Chairperson of Imbuto Foundation, chaired the Foundation’s General Assembly in the City of Kigali. The meeting brought together members and partners. Together, they reviewed progress made during the past year. They also agreed on priorities for the year ahead.

Chairperson Calls for Planning Based on Values
In her opening remarks, Jeannette Kagame said it was important to meet early in the year. This helps members reflect on past work and plan better. However, she stressed that values must guide every action.
“It is important to review what we have achieved and plan what lies ahead. However, our actions must always be guided by our values,” she said.
