He said the event helped Rwandans reflect on the sacrifices and values of the country’s heroes. He also noted that the concert encouraged people to honor heroes through action.

Minister Bizimana said honoring national heroes goes beyond ceremonies and celebrations. He explained that true heroism appears in daily actions that support development and improve people’s lives.
“Our heroes’ legacy is not only in the past; it lives on in every Rwandan who contributes positively to their community and the nation,” he said.

The Minister highlighted the values linked to national heroes. These include courage, selflessness, patriotism, and unity. He said these values remain important today. They should guide citizens at work, in school, and in their communities.

Minister Bizimana urged young people to play an active role in national development. He encouraged them to support education, promote unity, and grow the economy. He added that modern heroism often shows itself through service, innovation, and community work.

The Minister concluded by saying that every citizen has a role to play. He noted that positive actions help build a strong and united Rwanda.
