The Ministry of Education has signed a cooperation agreement with MTN Rwanda to strengthen digital skills in schools. The partnership also aims to expand access to technology-supported learning across Rwanda.
Through this agreement, both institutions plan to support digital learning at all education levels.

Improving ICT Use in Classrooms
First, the partnership will promote the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in teaching. Schools and teachers will receive support to use digital tools more effectively.
As a result, learners will gain better access to modern learning methods. This approach is expected to improve education quality nationwide.
Closing the Digital Access Gap
In addition, the initiative seeks to reduce the digital divide in education. It will increase access to digital resources, especially in underserved communities.
Therefore, more students will benefit from inclusive and equitable learning opportunities. No learner will be left behind due to limited access to technology.
Digital Skills for Digital Jobs Program Launched
At the same time, the partnership introduced the Digital Skills for Digital Jobs program. The program targets students and young people across the country.
It focuses on digital literacy, basic and advanced ICT skills, and problem-solving. These skills are essential in today’s job market.
Supporting Jobs and Rwanda’s Digital Future
Finally, the program aims to improve employability and support entrepreneurship. It also prepares participants for new opportunities in the digital economy.
